Sonja, I love your blog!!! And I hear it's your birthday today... so Happy Birthday!

It looks like we share many of the same favorite books. "Chronicles of Narnia", "A Wrinkle in Time", and "Oliver Twist" are great! I've also read all of Hilda Van Stockum's books and LOVE them, especially "The Mitchell's" series. I just recently re-read "Little Women" and Alcott's other works, which are some of my all-time favorite's as well.

I notice you have one of Lucy Maud Montgomery's books listed... have you read Anne of Green Gables? So good! You might also like a book called "Little Britches" by Ralph Moody. It's the first in a series of books about the adventures of a family who has just moved from the East to a ranch house near Denver in the early 1900's. My dad read "Little Britches" to me when I was about your age and I just fell in love with it. Finally, you might also enjoy the "Betsy" books by Maud Hart Lovelace.

Keep up the great work on your blog, and enjoy your birthday today!! :)

Thank you Fauna for wishing me a happy birthday, but I am kind of sick today. My favorite HvS book was 'Pegeen.' I like those because they're in Ireland and in 'Francie on the Run' they have a feis.

Well yes, I have heard of a few of those. :-) Happy belated birthday, Sonja. Sorry you were ill!

The Enchanted Castle by E. Nesbit is a huge favorite of mine. I like many of the others on your list too, and so does Lili. I will let her comment to tell you which ones she likes.
